D70S body and 18-135mm lens purchased separately. This is about $200 cheaper than the D80 18-135mm kit. I am very happy with the D70S. Good workmanship, solid construction. Benefit from the manual modes - extensive metering and focusing options give you more flexibility when photographing in difficult situations. The camera turns on and off very quickly. A friend who recently bought a Canon XTi with an 18-55mm kit lens decided that the D70s and 18-135 combo was the best buy after having the chance to try my Nikon. Advantages: - Robust design. - Quickly. - D70S and 18-135mm - a great solution at a lower price than the D80. Cons: - Confusing manual. - Only 6 megapixels. Problem only if you frequently print enlarged or enlarged images. Otherwise, the images look great on the monitor and the file sizes are reasonable.
