It's been a good couple of weeks and I wanted to try it before I write a review. I switched from 15" to this 18.5" because I needed more space. Bottom line, this has been a great upgrade for me so far. Here are some of my problems that I had to solve. Taking home a few folders was usually fine unless I was going to an event or needed to carry extra folders where they started taking up space very quickly. I always had my laptop with me, which usually fit in very snugly, but adding a charger required space. I had various things that now filled my portfolio. In the compartment where I put various things were also the pens. Pen holder diameters were small. Installing wider grips was unsuccessful and the grips would sometimes "pull apart" while still in the bracket. I also usually got a nice "memory" on the back of my hand when I pulled something out of the bottom of this pouch. A really good scratch and you will remember it next time. My new purchase solved my problems. We're doing a big update right now and I always have 2 to 4 folders and no worries. My current laptop has much more space. This laptop bag easily fits the large laptop we ordered. And the charger is now also easy to assemble. The pen trays are larger in diameter and are now very easy to put in and take out when I need it. Now that all my issues have been resolved, I'm happy to see that I still have enough room for even a small duffel bag. I don't want to be totally positive because you can't have everything. I'm 5'11" and when I shorten the shoulder strap the 'cushion' doesn't rest on my shoulder, which can sometimes be seen with a full suitcase. My old model had a 'double zip' on the pen case and I loved that, the new one only has a zip, so I just leave this case open when I'm not wearing my case.
