As a remote worker, I need good home office equipment for meetings, job interviews, and other virtual appearances. I've always used the mics built into the headphones, which are usually sufficient, but this is far from a quality mic. Not ready to spend a lot on a premium desktop mic, I thought I'd try something inexpensive first. For $30 I wasn't expecting much, but this mic turned out to be surprisingly good. Don't get me wrong, it won't be Blue Yeti or Shure quality, but for the price it's great. The mic comes with a nice stand that it screws into and the mic itself feels very solid. The microphone has a USB-c input and comes with two cables, USB-c to USB-c and USB-c to USB-a, so you can connect it to your computer or phone. There are two controls on the mic that allow you to adjust the mic volume and monitor volume, which is nice, although I found the volume range to be narrow. There's also a 3.5mm headphone jack for real-time monitoring. I wish the mic came with software to adjust the sound level, but that's a big request for such a cheap mic. Overall, this is a great budget mic or mic for kids who need a mic for gaming or similar activities.
