I wanted a gadget to use for viewing media on, like, say, YouTube or Chrome (so that passwords could be pulled up). In addition to the ipad pro, the other tablets that applied were the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 and the Microsoft Surface Pro 7. This latter option is where he decided to stop. Samsung's tablet is, to put it bluntly, tiny, and its user experience is that of an ultrabook trying to pass itself off as a tablet. As a tablet computer, the iPad is without peer. But, we must discuss software. It felt like I spent about an hour and a half looking into photo editing software. Does it make sense to name the process of modifying photos by clicking a circle with three dots "marking"? (NO!). Sometimes native apps, files, and the gallery will crash, and while we can't say much about third-party apps, you may notice that the menu navigation is sluggish at times. Overall, the device exceeded my expectations, and it is a pleasure to use. However, its convenience lags behind that of an Android (Apple is still growing and growing here). Also, Apple's product isn't as walled off as it once was; after uploading the torrented videos from my phone to the cloud, I was able to access the files on my iPad directly through the app and play them back in a video player. Crutches, yes, but they're better than nothing. It's wonderful that the tablet's casing offers visual cues as to which side you're holding it from, where the face ID camera is, or which side the power button is when making an app store purchaseβI know I'm guilty of this myself. I use the huawei freebuds 3, which I preferred to the airpods, and the clock displays the remaining battery life of the airpods. This tablet has its pros and limitations, but I think it's the greatest one available right now for media consumption or as a notebook/notepad. Also, I pair it with my Hp laptop over wifi and use it as a second display. The slogan claims it can replace a laptop, but that's only true if an iPhone can replace a laptop for you (if it has all the essential features). Stop hoping for a miracle. But, the newest release is keyboard and mouse friendly.
