I wanted to try après-dup but I needed a more powerful lamp than I already had and let me tell you this is definitely better bang for your buck . I already have a Sunmini and used it to dry the top coat. I applied a full gel set tonight and it took just over an hour while a normal nail polish application takes over 3-4 hours. I really love this shop. This is a must if you are just starting out. For someone like me, it's a breeze and makes it pretty darn easy to use.
