I thought the back would be more comfortable for my 6 year old daughter who is having her ears pierced for the first time. Eventually her ears became infected and the back of the earring began to pull back into her ear. If these were traditional earring backs we could loosen them but they snap and cannot be adjusted. I ended up having to take her to the doctor to have her earrings removed. The doctor had to use pliers to remove the earring. My daughter was a champion, but she was in great pain! I'm so sorry I bought these earrings 😫 I love the concept. Suitable for an old piercing that has already healed. Don't start with that!
