Review on HDMI & IR Extender Balun Set via Single 75ohm RG-6U Coax Cable with F Connection by Jessica Ness

I had high hopes for this product. I used 200 foot coaxial cable (RG6). I finished the ends with compression connectors. I had to run a projector that was 200 feet up in the ceiling. I used it as a second monitor from my computer. It didn't work right away after I set everything up. I had to keep turning it on and off until I could get it to send a signal. When the image appeared on the screen, it was clear and detailed. I read somewhere that after installation it can take a few minutes for the system to know what is being transmitted, what it is feeding to the receiver. So that part didn't bother me. After testing, it seemed very stable. We installed it in the church. We had 2 morning shifts and everything worked perfectly. Came back for a third service that evening and everything looked fine from the start. halfway through the service got a blue screen of death (loss of input signal). I still had the old Cat 5 system, so I switched to that. When the projector was 200 feet away and I had to climb stairs to get there, I lost confidence that this device would last long. After that I tried troubleshooting with another source like Apple TV and got the same results. The only way to straighten it out is to climb up there and turn the device on and off again. I have another place to use it, it's not as critical and may have better access to the receiver. Since the return date has already passed, I will move it there. i want it to work
