Now I have 2 of these and they work very well. First, it's the only mug warmer that actually lets you control the temperature. Others are only adjustable in the sense that they have a 135 degree setting and one for 175 degrees and you can choose what you prefer. This model allows you to choose any temperature in a fairly wide range and heats up very quickly. I also like that the entire surface is flat. This is very handy when your cup is slightly wider than the heating pad. Finally, stainless steel is a good choice. Much better than the dull plastic found on most other models.
