Review on FLUENTPOWER 1HP Portable Stainless Steel Lawn Sprinkling Pump: Efficient Electric Water Pump for Home Garden Lawn Irrigation by Chris Bertoli

I used it as a replacement for a submersible pump that circulates cooling water for my wort chiller. With two 50 foot hoses and a 50 foot 5/8 inch OD copper coil, there is A LOT of resistance in the common line. I found this motor and I liked that it's self-priming so I can stick the gauge line in the tank. chilled water and it starts pumping. I used to have a pretty powerful submersible pump, but this pump is MUCH POWERFUL! I was very impressed to say the least! And he's quiet. Also, the housing/impeller is made of stainless steel and high-quality plastic, so you can easily run corrosive substances such as fertilizers or acidic cleaners (within reason). It also has a nice sealed on/off switch, which is a nice plus. And for the price, it's excellent value for money. I also made a large screen filter and it works great. As far as I have the time I can't say enough good things about it. Just remember to plug into a GFI outlet or socket just to be safe.
