This container is easy to clean. The container itself is made entirely of stainless steel. The lid is plastic with a silicone ring that can be easily removed and replaced. more than i expected. It is the size of a 16 oz Pyrex container. I figured due to the size that I could use it instead of those containers when eating outside, but since the lid is in the container (to make it airtight) it takes up space that could be used for eating. When there is no lid on the container, it holds 16 ounces like a Pyrex glass bowl. There is a small groove on the inside of the container that serves as a guide. This will ensure that you don't fill the reservoir past this line or you will have trouble closing the reservoir.
