Perfect! My son (now 8 years old) hates sunscreen and asked for one of these suits. At first I only allowed him to swim in the pool with him because I was afraid it would be a disaster with sand. This is his second year (size XL) so I thought I'd let him try it on the beach. It was wonderful! When my son is not in the water, he is in the sand, digging, sitting, riding, burying his feet. COVERED WITH SAND. I was so impressed when he took off the suit. IT WAS NOT SAND! He only had a little where his arms and legs come out of the suit! Highly recommend and will buy again!
