Review on Carpet SteelSeries QcK Edge XL (63824) black by Michal Wojcik ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best thing Ive ever used, a great item for everyone!

Honestly, I have no idea what to say about the carpet. A carpet is like a carpet :) Personally, I needed it for comfort, aesthetic and tactile pleasure. This product fully met my needs. 1) The texture of the carpet is matte. Nothing sticks to it, it does not shine. Tactilely, the fabric feels like synthetics, but with such a velvety coating (I don’t know how to describe it more accurately). Try to touch any synthetic item and imagine that this is the same fabric, only it is slightly velvety, like ironed suede (no lint). In short, I'm pleased. The edging is stitched. I don't know what to do to make it fluff. For comparison, the edging is stitched, as letters are embroidered on some products, I personally do not rub and the transition is not felt. This is a fabric mat, which means it will not stick. The mat itself is rubberized on the back, so it does not ride on the surface. 2) The mouse does not slip, does not fly and stays on such a surface perfectly. Those. firstly, the actions are transmitted accurately, and secondly, by moving the mouse, or making sudden movements, you will not hear sounds. The carpet, due to the texture, does not allow sounds to spread (far-fetched, but without a carpet, I have characteristic knocking sounds and such sounds as “shush-shush” on a wooden table with a carpet, I don’t hear any sounds at all :) ). 3) It looks great on the table, like a working area for computer peripherals. Somehow organizes the space. Conclusion: a quality and good product. The only thing - you need to pay attention to the size and proceed from your needs. If the carpet cost 1800-2022. it would be nicer. The price, it seems to me, is a little too high even for such a high-quality carpet, but in general I do not regret the money spent and was satisfied. Is it worth taking? If something responded to you in 3 paragraphs above, then yes. Otherwise, this is from the category of additional practical decorations in the space, how to buy a carpet for home. Feet are pleasant, it looks beautiful and comfortable, but in general, you can live perfectly without it.

Pros
  • Quality and pleasant to the touch materials. The mouse does not get lost on the mat and perfectly transmits all your actions to the system. The texture of the fabric is matte. The edging is stitched and of high quality, it doesn’t rub to me personally, and in general the mat at hand is not particularly tactile when loaded into work, play.
Cons
  • Haven't found any use in a week. The only thing is to pay attention to the size and measure your work area with a tape measure in advance to understand how much space the carpet will take. The volume mixer, the keyboard and the working area for the mouse remained in my width. But in height, it might be worth making it bigger. 30 cm is, of course, purely a bedding for gadgets, so if it were 50-60 cm, or at least 40 cm wide, then your hands are already on it. And with a width of 30 cm - hands on the table, only gadgets on the rug.
