As noted by other reviews the applicators are vacuum packed and will warp/flatten. As others have suggested and it works, just add water. I put my applicators in a ziplock bag filled with water. After about an hour in the water, expand into the applicator marked in the picture. Simply drain excess water, air dry before use, done! No fear. The supplier should add instructions and this will eliminate the negative feedback about the deformation. Remember, add water and watch it expand before your eyes. lol enjoy.
