They look very sturdy and durable. I bought them for the bookshelf in the classroom. I think they will withstand this purpose well. They look better than most collapsible storage bags. They are lined as you can see in the photos and they have a plated metal ring (I think) around the top which helps them hold their shape. However, there is one issue that if I had known beforehand, I probably wouldn't have bought it. As can be seen in the photos, they were sent unassembled. Because of this, there are creases on the front, back and sides of the bag. I've tried erasing the wrinkles but no luck. I don't think ironing will work because they are faux suede. I'm keeping them in the hope that eventually the books will smooth out the creases and they'll work well for what I'm using them for.
