My old wine aerator finally broke after 3 years and it's time for a new one. After reading positive reviews I decided to stop at the Zazzol aerator. It comes in a nice black case so you can carry it around and if you want you can use the case that came with it. It comes with a rubber stand to keep it stable on the table when idle. Zazzol comes with a thank you note, a nice touch. Easy to use, just hold it over a glass and pour, it's easy. When you pour wine, it falls on the part of the umbrella first, on the first step. The wine then flows onto an aeration plate with 32 wine entry holes, the final stage is the wine leaving the zazzol in your cup, it's amazing how much air enters the wine. A gurgling sound lets you know the air is mixing. What sets it apart from the others is that it can be disassembled for cleaning, you remove part of the screen, pull out the center column and remove the rubber ring around the vent panel. Next, unscrew the top and bottom of the aerator housing that separates the aluminum ring. The final part is removing the plastic ring from the top of the aerator body. Zazzol is dishwasher safe. I personally wash by hand. I liked it so much I've ordered 5 more for the family, it makes a great gift for Christmas.
