I've tried many adapters. Why? Well I have a machine that detects a cable attached to the cassette and spits it out. This is common on many Ford vehicles. Although I have a Mercury Sable. But be that as it may. The problem does NOT occur with this adapter and therefore works perfectly. I connect it to my wife's iPod Touch and her iPhone 5. I also use it for my Samsung Galaxy Note 2. It works great for all of these applications. There are screws on the cassette itself that can be unscrewed, allowing you to swap the cable from side to side. This is to give extra support to cars with wiring issues. Sometimes the cassette will still eject from the tape recorder, but this can be fixed by reinserting or swapping the cable to the other side. It usually works fine and you don't have to do it. The sound quality is perfect. I'm not a music lover (although I play one of these on TV) so I can't confirm the quality. I can tell you one thing though, you will want to find the best combination of volume on your electrical device and volume on your car stereo. If any of these values are too high, that's when you're most likely to experience distortion or hiss. Will I buy this product again? would anyway!
