A friend who has a pedicure license and has worked on my feet twice advised me to buy a similar device. I've never heard of anything like this. When I searched for the device she recommended I buy, it had mixed reviews. I came across this microplan. I bought it based on their overall recommendation and reviews on this device. I have always had very dry, thick, cracked skin on my feet. I have tried various 'pedicure' type devices to help my feet. Some of them helped. But there is nothing like this device at once! I used this micro plan on my dry feet without soaking them first. I removed dry skin from problem areas of the foot easily enough to fill in the removed skin with a regular pile! Do not exaggerate! It literally took a few minutes and almost zero effort. The changes in my legs after 1 treatment are almost unbelievable. I will add this to my foot care routine and use as needed. I still think there is room for more forgiving foot tools and I will use them as needed. This is the right remedy to remove thick deposits of skin on problem areas.
