I used this tape to attach a router template to the work piece. It's tough enough that it needs to be cut with scissors or a knife (it won't tear by hand). The protective tape can be easily peeled off. It holds up very well without a hint of movement. When I finished tracing the project, the template needed a tool to unfold it as it would not rise when pressed by hand. The tape itself came off my work piece very easily, leaving no marks or damage on the surface. It should be noted that I was working on a Formica surface, so YMMV when working with softer materials. Overall I think this is a very good product and the three reel set is enough to last me through many years of home workshop work.
