Review on KENT 91065 X2 1MTB Black Tire by Kuldip Roberts

I wanted a new mountain bike but couldn't justify the money I spent on this beautiful hybrid in the garage. So I ordered these 29" studded tires and mounted them on my factory 23mm 700c rims on my 2005 Trek 7.3fx rim. The 2.125" tires ordered were too wide and tall. They fit perfectly (1.95" wide) with little clearance for light dirt. Inflated to maximum pressure, they felt great on city streets and bike lanes. I am one Walked a distance I last tried on a bike 6 years ago.Then I only rode another 500 meters before the horror got over my stubbornness and I cycled to the car.This was on factory 35mm hybrid tires.With these tires I am Rode a full 5.5 miles on the course (Prairie Creek Trail in Indianapolis. I didn't do any jumps or drops but I negotiated all the small gullies and embankments as normal. The hybrid still sits too high to track on a single track to be comfortable but these tires have fairly acceptable grip and handling I will experiment with a lower psi in spring but I'm happy with that I was hoping too much when I thought about it e to turn the hybrid into a BMX race bike. It's more like a 10-speed with buttons. But a fun proof of concept with a low entry price point
