Review on APEC WFS 1000 Capacity Under Sink Water by Lauren Lewis

We liked the high quality and essential character of the WFS-1000. The instructions are very good. When the canisters are full, the device becomes heavy and more difficult to handle. The water flow is large, there is no pressure loss. We wanted to keep our existing brushed nickel faucet, so we installed it onto the old unit's existing hoses and used a Sharkbite pusher to connect the polypropylene couplers. We made sure to install enough tubing so we could place the unit at the front of the cabinet or on the floor to change the filter. See image. Make sure that the seals are in the filter housings and did not fall out when unpacking. Before ordering we made a 15"W x 6"D x 12" cardboard template and made sure we understood how the unit would fit in our closet. I can't leverage the wrench to change the Cylinders to tighten and loosen.After installation we ran the system for 15 minutes to flush all the cartridges and we left our large faucet running as initially some of the carbon goes in there.
