If you want to use it with your phone you have to download the free app. All you have to do is use the included USB-C/USB-A cable and adapter (in my case a USB-A/Micro-USB adapter) and connect it to your phone. An additional power supply is not required. The camera does not need to be charged. It runs on your phone's battery. The app has tutorial videos, which is nice as the manual that comes with it doesn't have much explanation on how to use the app. There is a camera in the middle of the small box and a ring light around the camera. . Once it's connected to your phone and you've opened the app, you can start testing to see how far you get from your needs and how to get the best picture. The app has a few settings that allow you to have auto or manual focus, auto or manual white balance, and auto or manual exposure. Auto modes mostly work well, although I had to adjust the white balance. I was really impressed with the picture quality from this tiny camera. It's a lot of fun to play with him. There are several slides and you can do some water slides. They look like standard slides, so you probably won't have too much trouble getting lots of different finished slides if you want. The Wi-Fi Box is also very easy to use. Instead of connecting your camera to your phone, connect it to a Wi-Fi box. The Wi-Fi box has a rechargeable battery, so the box powers the camera and itself. To connect your phone to the camera, you need to go into the Wi-Fi settings and connect to the Wi-Fi box's signal that it is broadcasting. It worked just as well as connecting to my phone. You can also connect it to a computer. I connected it to my Windows 10 PC and it automatically downloaded the necessary drivers. You can then use your own camera program to open that camera like a webcam. I honestly wasn't expecting much from it, but it impressed me. It's easy to use and works well. I hope the build quality is good and lasts a long time.
