These attachments are well made. The metal parts are beautifully chromed. The glass is strong and quite heavy - around 6 pounds. All parts fit together well and are assembled with standard hand tools. The lights give off a pleasant light that is just right for a dinner or a table. I have attached some photos showing them day and night. Note that the glass is beveled so it emits a beam of light in a horizontal direction. The horizontal beam is bright enough to be distracting when aimed directly at the eyes. I turned the glass so the light fell on the kitchen cabinets. (See photo.) The color temperature is about 2700-3000K. The color rendering index (CRI) is good. They can trick your eyes into thinking they are hot. The LEDs are built into the lamp. So if they fail, you can't replace them without a soldering iron and a decent knowledge of electronics. Most people have to abandon the fixture when the LED fails. I've only been using them for a few weeks so I don't know about the durability. I'm concerned about how long the LEDs will last. The metal base above the LEDs gets very hot, indicating that the LEDs are being overloaded and may fail prematurely. If it turns out that the built-in LEDs have a good service life, I will definitely buy these lamps again. [I bought them. Plumbing at your own expense.
