Superb USB-C Card Reader

Excellent card reader for USB Type-C ports. I use it to read video from a dash cam to an LG V20 phone with a Type-C data/charge port. Pluggable and the connections are solid . I tested the throughput on my PC and while it's not USB-C Gen 2, it's certainly faster than other USB 3.0 card readers I've used. I am very happy with this purchase and will continue to shop with Plugable as they always seem to have quality products and great support. I hope you find this brief overview helpful. Pros

IMPORTANT NOTE: Supported by default on Mac, Linux and Windows desktop or portable systems. However, mobile platforms are unlikely to be supported as most Android devices with USB-C ports *NOT* support adding to mass storage devices (this feature requires rooting/jailbreak). Before purchasing, check with your device manufacturer to see if you can add a storage device through the USB-C port. Not compatible with iOS
