I recently removed the engine from my 2005 K1500 Silverado to fix some oil leaks and I ended up fixing all the leaks and also using a Texas Speed Stage 2 high lift cam Extended speed installed Technical distributor. and an off-road Y-pipe. It just didn't sound right with all that combined with the factory muffler. So I ordered a Flowmaster Super 40 series muffler. All I can say is Wow! I would highly recommend this muffler if you are looking for something loud that rumbles and lets you know you are home if you still are traveling away from him. And you need a muffler workshop to install if you don't have a welder, flashlight, etc.
