When the muffler arrived I was amazed at the build quality. This is not a flimsy, lightweight silencer. That's a beast. I had it welded on by a local exhaust shop and placed the single side outlet in front of the rear passenger wheel. Sounds amazing. Like the other reviews, it's not nasty, it sounds deep and smooth. Perfect sound for 01' Tahoe 5.3l. Not very noisy when idling, but when you sit on it you can definitely tell it's there! Just a roar in the cockpit at 1850-2000 rpm and that's not bad at all.
