Perfect sound for 01' Tahoe 5.3l. Not very noisy when idling, but when you sit on it you can definitely tell it's there! Just a roar in the cockpit at 1850-2000 rpm and that's not bad at all. I chose this because it's my wife's daily driver with kids and I didn't want anything too aggressive to annoy her. She loves it and it's perfect for the daily commute in a family car that needs a good muffler. Even though my Tahoe had a single intake and dual exhaust, the shop had to shorten the dual exhaust pipe to a single pipe in order for me to use this muffler. No big deal, that's the job they do. This muffler was cheaper online than anywhere else locally I could find. Great purchase and would buy again for my other cars in the future!
