I was so excited to finally find an affordable wooden calendar for my family! I have five children (ages 2 to 15) and I have used many different types of calendars in the past but none of them have lasted long. Although I plan to use this calendar for my 2, 4 and 8 year olds, I know it will last us for many years. My 15 year old probably won't use it, but even my 12 year old will love just seeing it visually. We went through private and public schools but now home schooled. Despite all of our different learning environments, I still enjoy working at home with my kids so this is the perfect complement. The calendar is a good size and the pieces of wood are thick. I don't worry about things being spoiled by my children. The holes on some of the numbered coins are not punched correctly, but that's the only flaw I see. However, I am not returning it for that reason. The bag is almost too small to fit all items in it, but it's nice to have it and it suits our style. Overall best value for money and we are very happy with it!
