Review on Monitor Wireless Monitoring Temperature Rechargeable by Elaine Ross

If you are looking for a simple, easy to set up, no frills baby monitor then this is for you. Basically it's a plug and play baby monitor that does what it's designed to do. I've been spoiled by some very good baby monitors that are a little disappointing. However, it depends on what you want your baby monitor to do, as not everyone wants it to be able to do something special. Here are my observations: Pros: - both devices (camera and monitor) are very light, nothing bulky - plug and play, no "setup" or pairing required with wifi, cameras, etc. - lightweight monitor, easy to carry room to room - Adjust brightness, volume - Two-way audio allows you to talk to the camera unit/monitor unit - Night vision to see in the dark Cons: - Camera unit is too light, it seems to tip over easily, especially with awkward cable routing on the back - low resolution, not very clear - the monitor is small, after using large monitors (5" and more) it is difficult to return to the small screen like this device has - few "bells and whistles" (no nursery rhymes, temperature signals etc.) - the design of the device doesn't feel very expensive, the overall design feels cheap General thoughts: I was going to give this 3 stars but gave 4 stars instead, that would be unfair to this mi t compare to fancier baby monitors ry twice the price. If I rate this unit on its own, a good reliable baby monitor that gets the job done. It's not top quality, but it's a decent device for the price. You can watch your baby and know that the baby is safe in the cradle/crib.
