Nice fenders with a low/medium difficulty of installation

Love the look and quality of these fenders, the black finish is almost perfect for my custom bike. I wanted to use long fenders but found the front end to be a bit long for the varied terrain I ride. They work great at trapping most of the water and mostly keeping my feet from getting wet. I have read some reviews of this and similar wings regarding the difficulty. Installation, I'm once again glad I didn't rely on the negative reviews in this "mechanically flawed" case. Of course there are several ways to fit the fenders, but if you follow the instructions you should get there easily, but you may need to make some adjustments depending on the bike. I will say that a dremel or similar rotary cutting wheel tool will really help to cut the springs if you put them in place and file them along, just be sure to protect the fenders with something hard while cutting. Also keep in mind that these fenders are really really strong and offer a lot of flexibility to fit them into the mounting clips so don't be afraid to bend them a bit. And, of course, a bike mechanic's stand will make your job a lot easier, but it's not necessary at all. The fender kit comes with thick spacers for people like me with disc brakes, so no problem if you have disc brakes. do you have a mountain bike rack and i had no further difficulties. So I highly recommend them, but if you're not into mechanical stuff, be aware that it's not like putting things together as bikes vary from model to model, but if you do this do be quite satisfactory.
