Not what I expected

I wanted a book with lots of different ideas on how to approach trading cards. Unfortunately, all the maps presented in this book are visually very similar. In addition, many expensive devices and consumables are required to use various background methods. While different backgrounds are good, this book was uninspiring and overall disappointing. If you are looking for inspiration to create different postcards, try 1000 Pages Artist's Magazine. Lots of different approaches and backgrounds.
