I bought my first Spigen Ultra Hybrid case in 2015 for my iPhone 6s Plus. The minimalist design combined with the drop protection struck me as a good balance and it has held up well over the years. Surprisingly, this case is still on my phone and has saved it from dozens of falls down sidewalks, streets and even down the stairs once. My phone has never cracked and looks (almost) new. However, over time, the body has acquired a slightly dark tint. It's not noticeable on my space gray iPhone, but is noticeable when the case is removed. Considering the case costs about a third of Apple's net asking price, you could replace it multiple times if you get a similar shade. I will be pre-ordering the iPhone 11 Pro this Friday. It claims to be the toughest glass on an iPhone (a claim is made every year), but I'm not ready to give up a case just yet. So I took this new Ultra Hybrid. Materials and construction appear to be broadly similar to previous models, although a tiny "Aircushion" label has been added to the top of the case. It's not very noticeable, but it's also unnecessary. It comes in recyclable, non-irritating packaging and ships quickly. If there's a better case, I haven't found it.
