This material is soft and soft, on a roll with wax paper that separates the product. The last order I received had the spool thrown with a different box and when it arrived the spool was square and the product had been squeezed out on one side of the first 9 layers. it was all useless. I sent it back and ordered two more coils. I was impressed when I opened the box and discovered some extras. Then I noticed that both coils don't lay flat in the box. They have been aligned so that the first 5 layers are now not the same thickness on both spools. As I said this is a great product and make sure you order 2x what you think you need as you will lose a lot in the shipping process. If you can wait until winter, the material will harden at low temperatures and may survive shipping.
