A year ago we lost our remote control and we use the application as a remote control. I needed to change some of my internet connection settings and without the remote I couldn't log into Roku to change my network settings. I was apprehensive about buying this because Roku customer service didn't ensure it would fix the problem, but they did. Works perfectly. Hope we don't lose it! By the way, the price is great. Roku charges almost $20 for it. I don't mind that this remote doesn't have a Roku tag.
