Review on 💡 Sengled Pulse: Pewter Dimmable LED Light Bulb with Built-In JBL Speaker (Master + Satellite Pair) - Wireless Bluetooth Innovation by Athena Harris

First of all I wasn't expecting fantastic stereo sound with booming bass from these speakers - I think that would be unrealistic. Installation was very, very easy. I may have to turn in my "man card" but I actually read the instructions and they were pretty straightforward. Set the "master" bulb as you would any other bulb and (I have an iPhone) go to bluetooth settings and look for new devices - the bulb popped up immediately and I paired it. This resulted in a popup telling me I need an app to use the light, so I clicked the link provided, installed the app and was on my way. The app is very easy to use as you can dim the lights, turn them on and off and even control each light individually. Music is easy too, just turn the volume up to the desired level, go to iTunes and press play whatever you want to hear. The speakers are fine for background music if you're having a party and you can crank them up a bit, but like I said you won't be rocking your house with these tube speakers, but they're not bad at all. Cons: There is a slight hum coming from the main speaker that drives you crazy if you focus on it. Initially I tried ignoring the instructions and installed dimmer bulbs on my switch - a big mistake as the hum was quite loud and if it hadn't died down after removing the dimmer I would have put those bulbs back in but it's a lot better . The second downside is that every time you leave the room and come back you have to go into the bluetooth settings and reconnect as if you lost the connection by exiting or turning off the wall switch. Also, I would like more than one phone to be able to control the light at the same time. But maybe this will lead to a fight in my house! All in all a very cool product that is really easy to install and use. After installation I was so impressed that I ordered two more "satellite" bulbs and now all the bulbs are set up in my living room - the kids enjoy them. My wife, a phobia of gadgets, is not enthusiastic. She preferred the dimmer on the wall. My daughter wants this in her room. I think I know what she's getting for her birthday.
