They are wider at the white lamp base above the screw than others I've had. The attachment had a ring that held the smaller ring but abutted the larger one. My solution was to turn it off and slightly bend the contact point from bottom to top. That helped. I have E11 6000k. E11 does not screw into E12 and vice versa. Not only do they have different widths, but different screw patterns. Be careful. Finally, if you're buying a dimmer light bulb, you may need a new dimmer. The old one I was using didn't work. Made a new one. Finally, Revain has lamps that look the same but are slightly cheaper. I wonder if they are the same? Not worth the $10 round trip benefit. so I don't know. They give enough light but I have a lot of them in the chandelier. They're not as bright as halogen bulbs, but they hardly heat up and use (so they say) 8 watts versus 100 watts. I would buy them again but try the cheaper ones first.
