I like to color in adult coloring books. I use different brands of colored pencils, watercolor pencils, markers, dual-tip markers, brush markers, and gel pens. I have Caliart, Soucolor, Sandman, Two Rascals and Color Diamond pens. Unfortunately, I had trouble finding a set of gel pens with a large enough selection of green and brown pens. Brown handles are almost impossible to find. I bought 240 Karat Tanmite pens, so 120 pens and 120 refills, because other reviewers pointed out in their reviews the wide range of colors and the positive quality of the pens. I don't think the quality of these pens is very good. They can bend if you don't hold them while changing the cap. Tips often have to be tightened. Only these two things can be dealt with simply by paying attention. Unfortunately the ink does not flow smoothly from these pens compared to all sets I own except the Color Diamond and this set is a fine nib set designed for detail work. While I can use this in my books I have found that when used over a larger area they do not leave a smooth appearance. You can paint objects smaller than 1 inch, but scratches will be visible afterwards, except when using glossy and fluorescent pens. FYI, fluorescent pens are also glitter pens. There is a very good range of shades of brown in this set, which is a big plus. My 100 karat Caliart set has 10 shades of green and the 120 karat Tanmit set has 15. Although Tanmit advertises this set with no duplicates, I think that claim is an exaggeration. shades. Many shades repeat from glitter to metallic, fluorescent etc. The only difference is how the ink has been influenced by glitter, metallic, neon and pastel colors. There are 6 knobs. They are good for scrapbooking or writing. They are completely useless for adult coloring books. There are 4 standard pins: Red, Blue, Green and Black. There is no list of colors for the pens. Although there are 11 crayons in this set, I still don't understand what that means. I couldn't always tell if the pen was neon or the utensils were painted. So I did my best to separate them. I named each shade in each category. I used the same names in different categories. There are so many ways to say purple. Here's what I came up with. 28 GLITTER: Red Orange, Orange, Yellow Orange, Yellow, Lemon Yellow, Kelly Green, Aqua (Green), Parrot Green, Turquoise, Chinese Blue, Blue, Dark Blue, Plum, Purple, Royal Purple, Magenta, Pink, Garnet, Crimson, Red, Henna (Red/Brown), Brown, Gold, Black, French Gray, Warm Gray, Cool Gray (Silver), White Blue, Kelly Green, Spring Green, Lemon Yellow, Yellow, Yellow Orange, Orange, Coral, Hot Pink, Purple , Red, Pink, Silver, Kelly Green, Chestnut, Mahogany, Chocolate19 NEON: Red, Watermelon, Coral, Red Orange, Orange, Orange Yellow, Lemon Yellow, Yellow, Spring Green, Apple Green, Kelly Green, Teal, Sky Blue, Blue, Royal Purple, Violet, Red Violet, Magenta, Hot Pink16 -Pink, Lilac, Lavando Blue, Chartreuse (Yellow/Green), Spring Green, Turquoise, Aqua, Blue, Tan, White20 METALLIC: Red, Red Orange, Orange, Light Orange, Yellow, Yellow Green, Spring Green, Kelly Green, Sky Blue, Blue, Grape, Royal Violet, Plum, Pink, Brown, Copper, Gray, Silver, Platinum, Black4 STANDARD: Red, Blue, Green, Black6 left and right side separately. I apologize for these posts. There seems to be an issue with Revain ratings. I noticed this in the reviews of others. I've also included a photo of a Tanmit pen on the left and Caliart & Soucolor grips. All 3 brands are refilled with almost the same amount of ink. All Tanmit pens are filled with approximately the same amount of ink. I haven't encountered an issue where one of the pins was underfilled. Although the ink flows unevenly, I haven't had any problems with clogged pens. Clogging is more likely with shiny handles. I've seen some reviews of gel pens where the authors say they squeeze the pens while trying to write to clear the blockage. I've found that if a clog occurs, press down firmly while trying to rotate the pen's tip with your thumb or forefinger to be more effective and less likely to damage the pen. So I'm not entirely happy with how well the pens work when painting a large area, but I would still buy them again. The choice of colors is very good and the price of the set is fair given the quality of the pens. I should also note that I received 2 packages of 120 refills. I plan on dividing them into different groups so I can refill the appropriate pen when the time comes. I think this will be more efficient than waiting for the pin to run out and trying to find a match in the bars. If you found my review helpful, I would appreciate it if you clicked the button. Many Thanks.
