Review on 🌡️ Cuisinart CSG-100 Surface Temperature Gauge by Tom Lawson

I haven't tested this in my oven to see how accurate it is. But it did help me make a great set of St. Louis-style ribs for Thanksgiving! I had to cook slow and slow and this thermometer helped me time the grill properly for the 2.5 hour grill time. Websites would say that the thermometer in your range hood is inaccurate, and I think I would have to agree - the temperature of the hood was very different from that of the cooking surface, and if I were to go by the temperature of the hood I would be a lot uncooked piece of meat. And with that, Thanksgiving 2021 was saved. TLDR: I haven't tested its accuracy on my oven, but it's probably good enough for a hobby backyard grill. Also easy to read and use on the grill. Took at least one long bbq session - will update if it dies unnecessarily, but cleaned up nicely and looks reliable.
