Gate latch is stuck and requires two hands to open. The locking mechanism is much smaller than our old gates. The latch is made from cheap plastic pieces riveted together so it cannot be disassembled for repair. Those goals really suck, looks like the cost cuts backfired. Gates returns Revane for credit. The bottom plastic stop, which prevents the gate from rotating out of the frame, continues to fall out of position and allows the gate to rotate 180 degrees. This is a very poor replacement for the welded stop on our old gates. These discounted gates are not safe, I expect much more from a child safety item. It cannot be compared to our old gates from the same company. Updated to get a replacement from Revain to replace a gate with a bad latch. The replacement had a large latch and a welded stop just like our old gates. Two different versions seem to have been delivered.
