I bought these as a cheap replacement for my truck. I wasn't expecting much from a $35 speaker set BUT the quality matches and in some cases surpasses the more expensive stuff out there. They come with an external high/low pass filter, one for each speaker, which is attached with double sided tape. and the wires are long and the ends are already on. and for the door speakers, they were enough to stretch straight to the radio. The sound direct from the main unit is great and when it's turned up loud they have NO distortion at all. I was amazed. Another note: the Big Bang speaker series was developed to be powered by an external amplifier. but they work fine without, there are no complaints at all. I like them and now I will put them on my other car. I bought both 6.5 2way and 5x7 2way, both work great.
