Review on 🔧 Capri Tools 10516 Super-Forged Ultimate by Shane Yay

I ordered the 4 inch version to save desk space and I'm glad I did. They replaced a cheap 4" vise that was 35 years old, so I already knew that a 4" vise would fit almost anything I needed. If the 6" was a little smaller I could increase the dimensions, but this 4" opens a good inch wider than my old one and lower from the jaws to the top of the slide and fits my needs so well (general small goods for house - and car repair). The vise itself is pretty good. They fix everything that is in the sponges very firmly. The workmanship is flawless and attractive. The jaws move precisely and the jaws are perfectly aligned. Since it's forged steel, I expect it to outlast me. No rough edges, no casting cavities, nicely finished finishes - well worth the money compared to the cast iron vise-like items out there The base snaps in nicely and it was easy to install Use the base itself to mark the mounting holes in the bench - this is more accurate than using a template. Completely satisfied - thanks to Capri for NO marketing rubbish!
