Gently try to floss your tooth. Adjust the knot to the perfect size for you. The magic is that the knot moves easily by pulling on the ends one at a time. Once this is optimal, tie a second knot and tease it until it sits on top of the first knot. Now they are fixed. You can apply force without deforming the loop.
