Doesn't work well with street spray. (corrected)

Attached to the body of a Class 8 trailer. Whenever I drive a truck in the pouring rain, the device is barely audible. When dry it works fine. I purposely pointed it downwards so it wouldn't get boggy. The people here were nice enough to send me another one and I sent it back. He does the same. When I replaced the block, I took a hard plastic fender, trimmed it, and hung it to cover the wires to the taillights and alarms. We also work in the snow and the deposits on the wires are not good. Very knowledgeable and we narrowed the problem down to the fact that with very poor atomization the horn loses grip. I improved my connections and the problem went away. Freightliner trucks also have a PCM (Powertrain Control Module) that illuminates the dashboard when it detects a burned out bulb, and the problem with LEDs is that the current draw is so small that the circuit is not detected. The cure for this is using a resistor. In the picture above, these are "dual-purpose LEDs". All (7) indicators will illuminate white when reverse gear is engaged and the horn is sounding. It actually uses less power than (2) normal reversing lights. So I apologize to these people. The device is not filled with water.
