Review on Polished Chrome Tub Spout with Front Diverter, 1/2 inch IPS Female Thread, 5-1/4 inch Length, for 4 inch to 4-3/8 inch Galvanized Pipe Nipple by Jonathan Jensen

I just moved into a 20+ year old house and found the tub spout leaking quite badly. Tried the Danco Bathtub Diverter Spout Repair Kit and it's still leaking badly. Before ordering this part I was a bit hesitant due to several negative comments here. Some say the case is flimsy. In my opinion this is an excellent rigid part of the spout for such a cheap part. I measured the old part and followed the wall pipe instructions/measurements. Revain just delivered this a few minutes ago, it only took me a minute to put it on and try it on. No more leakage immediately. Everything works perfectly. I just need to put some caulk and silicone around the next one.
