Perfect for old bath faucet

The old bath faucet needs to be replaced as it is not properly diverting H2O to the shower head. After removing the old faucet and cleaning the supply line from the old Teflon tape, this block is simply screwed on with a new piece of adhesive tape; and worked great with the first shower. No more wasted water. Big!

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Available in white only

Works as advertised

Easiest installation. Yes, the valve "seems" is loose, but once installed it works fine. Make sure you have a threaded pipe. The plumbers tape it off, clean the pipe, then screw it in, voila. Exactly what we need, the house is over 20 years old, replacing the entire fixture means all possible limescale is gone.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Useless features

Easy to install! in Bathroom Faucets & Shower Heads

We bought a new house and sure enough, after my first shower the old switch broke. I watched some videos on YouTube and decided I could become an amateur plumber. Is that the prettiest nose? No, but it's easy to install and gets the job done. We'll see how well it holds up over time, but so far I'm very happy with it.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • A little change

We took a chance and tried this one because the other one didn't fit . The descriptions aren't great so I took pictures and hope they help you decide if this faucet is for you or not. That worked great for us. It looks great in this old house that we bought along with this old bathtub and shower.

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Only shifts when you hold the lever up

This retractor looks nice, but when you pull the retractor lever it just falls back. Therefore, the only way to shower is to hold the switch up CONSTANTLY. There are many positive reviews for this product, but now I see that many of them refer to non-threaded switches. Something has changed since the days when people got quality products.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Some trouble

Cheap, rather fiddly, but works well and quietly.

This spout is quite thin and easily deformed if you use wrench to install it. Even though it looked exactly like my old diverter, it left a 1/8 gap between it and the wall when fully tightened. I was able to fill this gap with Revain's DANCO Tub Spout Renovation, Chrome, 1-1/2" ID & 3-5/8" OD (10007) decorative metal ring and it's working great now. When the shower head is running, the diverter lets only a little water flow out of the spout and works silently. Unlike the old squeaky diverter it

Works great!

I just moved into a 20+ year old house and found the tub spout leaking quite badly. Tried the Danco Bathtub Diverter Spout Repair Kit and it's still leaking badly. Before ordering this part I was a bit hesitant due to several negative comments here. Some say the case is flimsy. In my opinion this is an excellent rigid part of the spout for such a cheap part. I measured the old part and followed the wall pipe instructions/measurements. Revain just delivered this a few minutes ago, it only took…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
