Great camera! I took it as the next step after a semi-professional soap dish. The shooting process gives great pleasure, the quality of the pictures after my previous Sonya is heaven and earth, of course :) I chose, like many, between 550d and 600d. I took 600d because of the swivel screen - a really handy thing! I advise you to take with a lens 18-135. Autofocus often misses, for this is really a "minus". The sound of the video is disgusting, but it's not a video camera, so this is my nitpick, plus you can fix it by connecting a microphone :) Take it, you won't regret it 100%!
