Bought this kettle to use on my propane stove on board our old wooden boat. The size is perfect for my giant morning cup of tea, and the shape not only fits the stovetop but also potholders to keep it from flying around the parlor. I would have preferred it to be rust free as I think it will eventually get scratched but so far it has been great. The melodic whistle is amazing and the magnetic marble works very well. The handle only heats up, and the shape helps with storage. It's also a really pretty teapot if style is your bag!
