It works great! for my opinion
We recently took a trip to the mountains to camp on the river. I got one of these for my 5 year old since he freezes in 80 degree water. Upon entering the freezing cold river water, as expected he was cold for a minute or so, but after that, he didn’t complain the whole week about being cold in the river. This thing worked flawlessly for him, and that made it all worth it.

- The neoprene material may retain an unpleasant odor after being in the water several times
