A few years ago was the last time I played video games on a personal computer before investing in a set-top box. At that time, the computer had stopped being able to deal with the responsibilities that were given to it, and it was plainly too lazy to eat it again, and the toad choked on spending money on components. After that, I stopped playing video games for a number of years, and then all of a sudden I had the need to relive the good old days:) The price tags on today's gaming laptops brought a cruel man's tear to my eye, and after considering the options, we settled on the idea of looking at gaming consoles instead. I waited for the New Year's sale and purchased a bundle with four games for a total of $2,1990. When compared to other options of comparable price and quality, the PlayStation 4 was the one that appealed to me the most. Now that I've had the console for about a month, I can say that since I first started using it, I've been nothing but pleased with it: there are a huge number of games available for an affordable price tag on sale, nothing lags, very comfortable gameplay, I got used to the gamepad in about a week, and the graphics are excellent (for my taste, of course; I've never played on 4k, so there may be other experiences). I have never once regretted making the purchase, and I have no hesitation in recommending it to others who are willing to pay for games but do not place a high priority on the quality of the graphics.
