Perfection Beyond the Price

This is the very first cycle computer I have ever owned, although I have been a cyclist for most of my 41 years on earth. According to the instructions, installation couldn't be easier. I had limited space to mount an armrest under the steering wheel (previously tested) and the included zip ties make it very secure. A limitation concerns the mounting of the magnet on the spoke and the dimensioning of the impeller. The instructions state that the magnet should be placed at a distance of 5 cm from the sensor (which is about the width of the nail). You then need to calculate the wheel size in metric units by including pi in the equation. They now give you a chart of standard tire sizes (ranging from 16" to 26"), but since I have a 29" tire I had to use a calculator to get it right. Available data includes speed, average speed, and top speed. , distance traveled, accumulated total distance, ride timer, total timer, calories burned while riding, fat calories burned while riding (it asks you to enter your weight at the start of setup to calculate this, although it doesn't take into account whether you are driving uphill or downhill or what gear you are in to calculate calories), temperature and time of day. You can also set it to scan each of these bits of data every second, or freeze on both. Overall I would highly recommend this computer.
