Review on No Nonsense Breathable Cushioned Quarter by Robert Blanton

These new socks (9 pairs) are less than a month old. I'm not sure I've worn them all and the elastic is already popping out as you can see in the photos. I placed the old sock on the right and the new sock on the left side by side and you can clearly see the difference in quality. The old socks have a nice cup on the heel and fit the foot really well, and the cotton itself seems thicker and better quality. The new sock doesn't have that cup on the heel and slides well on the foot, but I'm not sure if the elastic stays where it should be and doesn't end up slipping off with a bad elastic. Cotton feels different, it just feels thinner and wears out much quicker. I love these socks, I've been buying them for a very long time and they would be the only socks I would ever buy if they kept the same quality. One almost wants to ask oneself whether this is a fake of the original. A little dismayed.
